What you need in Northern Territory
Instructors in Northern Territory are accredited by the Motor Vehicle Registry, which issues the driving instructor endorsement. In outline, you will need to:
- Have held the relevant open Australian licence continuously for three years
- Hold a Certificate IV in motor vehicle driver training
- Provide a recent medical assessment of fitness to drive
- Provide recent criminal history and traffic history checks
