Become a driving instructor in Tasmania
StartLDrive is recruiting qualified, dual-control instructors across Tasmania. You set your own rates and your own hours, and keep your own learners — there are no franchise fees.
What you need in Tasmania
Instructors in Tasmania are accredited by Transport Services Tasmania, which issues the Ancillary Certificate in Driving Instruction. In outline, you will need to:
- Have held a full Australian licence for at least three years
- Hold a Certificate IV in motor vehicle driver training
- Hold a current Working with Vulnerable People (children) registration
- Provide a National Police Certificate — applications go through Service Tasmania
