StartLDrive is recruiting qualified, dual-control instructors across South Australia. You set your own rates and your own hours, and keep your own learners — there are no franchise fees.
What you need in South Australia
Instructors in South Australia are accredited by the Department for Infrastructure and Transport, which issues the Motor Driving Instructor's Licence. In outline, you will need to:
- Hold a current SA licence, with an unconditional car licence held for at least two years
- Hold a Certificate IV in motor vehicle driver training
- Pass a regulator assessment conducted in a manual vehicle
- Meet the character requirements set by the Registrar of Motor Vehicles
