Become a driving instructor in Victoria
StartLDrive is recruiting qualified, dual-control instructors across Victoria. You set your own rates and your own hours, and keep your own learners — there are no franchise fees.
What you need in Victoria
Instructors in Victoria are accredited by Safe Transport Victoria, which issues the Driving Instructor Authority. In outline, you will need to:
- Hold a valid Victorian driver licence
- Hold a Certificate IV in motor vehicle driver training
- Meet the commercial medical standards in Austroads' Assessing Fitness to Drive
- Apply through the Safe Transport Victoria portal
