StartLDrive is recruiting qualified, dual-control instructors across Western Australia. You set your own rates and your own hours, and keep your own learners — there are no franchise fees.
What you need in Western Australia
Instructors in Western Australia are accredited by the Department of Transport, which issues the Driving Instructor's Licence. In outline, you will need to:
- Be at least 21, and have held the relevant class of WA licence for three continuous years
- Hold a Certificate IV in motor vehicle driver training
- Pass a medical assessment at commercial driver standard
- Provide a recent National Police Certificate and a Working with Children Check
